Rain or Shine Coffee House first opened in the Spring of 2011, serving the South Tabor neighborhood until August of 2020, when it was slated to close during the global pandemic.
Through a change in ownership, it was brought back with the goal of preserving a beloved neighborhood space and continuing its role in the community.
Today, Rain or Shine carries forward that spirit - striving to provide a positive, warm, and inclusive environment with friendly staff and high-quality coffee, tea, and bagels. It remains a place to gather, study, relax, and enjoy.
We take a different approach to flavor. Instead of relying on standard, mass-produced syrups, we use thoughtfully sourced ingredients made with real flavors - no corn syrup, no artificial shortcuts. The result is a menu that feels a little more unique, a little more intentional, and a lot more delicious.
Longbottom Coffee sources the very best green beans available, working with trusted importers to ensure that this food is grown, processed, stored and transported with the utmost care. Using a hot-air roasting process and working by hand, we produce coffees that are evenly roasted at the appropriate temperatures and that faithfully represent the bean's natural flavor.
Longbottom's shade grown, organic coffees are farmed without use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides and to ensure the preservation of native plant.
